Tech Week Singapore 2026: AI Governance, Security and Cost
Enterprises at Tech Week Singapore 2026 asked about AI governance, security and cost. See how OneGateway's AI token management platform answers all three.
Governance, Security and Cost: What Enterprises Told Us at Tech Week Singapore 2026

On 29 and 30 September, AIPulse brought OneGateway to Tech Week Singapore 2026 at Sands Expo and Convention Centre. Over two days at Booth 5-K12, our team held more than 220 conversations with technology, data, security and finance leaders.
They came from banks, public agencies, healthcare providers, airlines and manufacturers, alongside telcos, cloud providers and systems integrators from across Southeast Asia. Their organisations differed, but their concerns did not. Almost every enterprise conversation returned to three questions: how to govern AI, how to keep it secure, and how to keep its cost under control.

Governance: who is using which model, and under what rules?
Most enterprises we met are well past experimentation. AI already runs through their analytics, internal tools and customer service, often across several providers at once. What many lack is one set of rules: keys are scattered across teams, policies sit in spreadsheets, and a simple audit question is hard to answer.
OneGateway gives every model one door, one policy and one trail. Role-based access, multi-domain single sign-on and an isolated admin entry control who can use what. A full audit trail keeps one record of who used which model, so risk and compliance teams work from a single source of truth.

Security: keeping sensitive data where it belongs
For security leaders, every prompt is a possible route for sensitive data to leave the organisation. They want protection that works as data moves towards a model, not after an incident is discovered.
OneGateway applies PII and content-safety detection to the traffic that passes through it, with violation handling on a PDPA- and ISO-aligned audit loop. Organisations choose the deployment that fits their risk posture: shared or dedicated instances, delivered as SaaS, hybrid or on-premises.

Cost control: capped before the invoice
The third concern was cost. As usage spreads across teams and models, spend becomes hard to see and harder to forecast, and the first warning is often the monthly invoice.
OneGateway keeps a live usage and cost ledger by individual, team and department, with dashboards for tokens, requests, latency and cost. Quotas with cycle resets and exhaustion policies cap spend before it overruns, and semantic caching means a cache hit costs zero upstream tokens. One API across more than 200 models, with automatic fallback, lets teams switch providers without rewriting code.

What our booth survey showed
Booth visitors also completed our short survey, The State of Enterprise AI Usage. It is a small booth sample, so we read it as direction rather than statistics, but it points the same way as the conversations:
- 52% named cost and usage visibility as the most critical capability in a token management platform.
- Among respondents with the highest monthly AI spend, 60% put governance or access control first.
- 65% already use two or more AI models, most often ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini.
- Data and analytics is the leading use case, cited by 74% of respondents.
We are keeping the survey open and will share a fuller report as more responses come in.

From concern to conviction
The pattern at the booth was consistent. Visitors arrived with a concern about governance, security or cost, and stayed once they saw OneGateway running live at our demo station. Seeing every model, team and token in one console, with policies and budgets set in one place, moved many conversations from whether this could work to how soon a pilot could begin.

"We came to listen as much as to show. Every question about governance, security and cost taught us something, and we're grateful for each one."

What comes next
Our team is now following up with the organisations we met, starting with live demonstrations and pilots on their own models. If we did not meet at Tech Week, we would welcome the conversation: visit onegw.ai to see OneGateway in action or book a demo.
